Together We Live and Work

For in fact the body is not one member but many. (1 Corinthians 12:14)

• Each of us has been uniquely gifted with the capacity to make a contribution to the work of Christ.
• We were never intended to live in isolation but to work together to become a great force for God and the advance of His cause.
• The apostle Paul reminded us, the body of Christ “is not one member but many”.
• All of us are to use our gifts to serve one another so that together we can make a significant difference in our world.
• Let us put our giftedness to work, joyfully cooperate with the giftedness of those around us, and let the wind of the Spirit use us for His glory!
• Lord, teach us to use our strengths in cooperation with the strengths of others.
• Help us to serve as one so that we might know the joy of the power of our togetherness for Your name’s sake and the advance of Your kingdom.
• We can accomplish more together than we can alone.

Which Time Of The Year Do You Like Best?

Some children wonder when is their Birthday;

They anticipate their birthday gifts and party.

Some dream of the Festive Season;

They miss the fun and the joy of coming together.

Some talk about Vacation Holidays;

A week or two to the outside world will be nice.

Some plan hard for their Engagement and Wedding Day;

Their eyes are beaming with love, joy, and hope.

Some look forward to their Graduation Day;

The time to be freed to do what they want.

What about you?

Which time of the year do you like best?

What have you in mind?

For myself, it's not the occasion that matters;

It's not the fun and the joy;

And it's not the gifts or the party.

It's the people.

It's the time to get together;

To love and to cherish,

To interact and to share,

To recall each passing moment,

And to spur one another on towards love and good deeds.

The coming Christmas and New Year Gatherings will be just nice,

If everyone knows the love, the joy, and the hope of coming together.

We Belong Together

Each of us is born with talents. Throughout our life, the Almight God is guiding us to explore and discover our special gifts. With them, we live life to the fullest.

Each of us also comes with certain weaknesses. And we try to overcome all of them, so that we can be successful in every aspect of our life.

And we know that life is full of threats but that should not stop us. Those of us who have overcome them are now enjoying the fruits of our labor.

And we also know that life is full of opportunities everywhere. And we believe we can feed on any green pasture if we have the desire and the determination to do so.

But we belong together.

We are here to assist and to complement one another.

Family can never be sweet and warm until the family members work together.

Organization can never achieve its desired goals if there is no teamwork.

Nation can never prosper if the people are not united.

And the world can never see peace and stability until we know that we belong together.

Don't try to live alone for that is not the reason why we are created.
