The Kent knot is often called ‘the small necktie knot’.
It is one of the easiest ways to tie a necktie.
The Kent knot uses very little of the tie’s length.
It needs 1 or 2 loops less.
The Kent knot is perfect for tall people with a regular sized necktie.
It is also great for thick Italian type silk ties.
And excellent for shirts with a narrow collar spread or button down collars.
The Kent knot is good for every formal and informal event.
Use the Kent knot now!

We have had shirts and ties that look more or less exactly the same for well over a hundred years now. I keep wondering if there will come a time when someone will come up with a different formal fashion for men soon. I do hope so ..... for it appears that mens fashion have come to a permanent full-stop and will not move on any further. Imagine if they had stayed that way when they wore tights like Robin Hood? Surely there must be one man brave enough out there to think of a new suitable fashion for the masses of men that would like to see a change from the 'shirt and tie' that there fathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers, great great grandfathers and great great great grandfathers wore????
I do like your explanation of how to tie a neck tie though. I had to wear one for school uniform (girls were required to wear them at Secondary school in Britain and I believe they still do).
